CHANDIGARH, NOV 15: Unbeaten century by Akashdeep (112) and fine bowling spell by Ksheetij (7 for 12) helped DAV School-8 score victory over Government High School, Kajehri by a huge margin of 249 runs to enter the next round match in under-16 group in the Chandigarh State Inter-School cricket tournament at DAV School premises today.

DAV-8 scored 286 runs, losing one wicket in the allotted 20 overs.

GHS, Kajehri, bastmen in their innings were restricted by the rival bowlers coupled with tight fielding, the team was back to the pavilion in the 8th over for a paltry score of 34 runs.

Ksheetij and Vikram Rajbir took seven and three wickets, respectively. With this win today DAV School had reached in the quarterfinal stage of the meet.
