
BANGALORE, FEBRUARY 16: HANSA8217;, India8217;s first all-composite twin-seater trainer aircraft, designed and built by the National Aerospace Laboratories, has been certified for day and night flying by the Director General of Civil Aviation, marking a major mile-stone for the NAL.
Hansa, ideally suited for pilot training, sports and hobby flying, has now become only the third all-composite light aircraft in the world to get such a certification.
Hansa-3 type8217; certificate was handed over to NAL director Dr T S Prahlad by DGCA, H S Khola, at a function here today in the presence of chairman of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Dr C G Krishnadas Nair and president of Aeronautical Society of India, Air Marshal P Rajkumar, among others.
