AIFF let Fransa off the hook

Opening a 8217;Pandora8217;s Box8217;, as a senior official put it, the All India Football Federation AIFF today virtually exonerated Fransa Pax of its confrontationist attitude in the National Football League and allowed them to continue in the league.

AIFF president Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi has also ordered that Air India will have to replay their match versus the Goan club. Fransa had boycotted that match, protesting a referee8217;s decision in a match vs Mahindra United. Dasmunsi took the decision 8220;after considering the various correspondence as well as the recommendations of the emergency committee and disciplinary committee of the ONGC Cup8221;.
