The panel discussion for Screen8217;s The Big Picture our third edition this year was attended by eminent personalities from the Hindi film industry who exchanged their views on various issues related to cinema. An elite panel of eight film industry professionals discussed the topic 8216;New, Improved Bollywood: Are we ready to take on the world?8217;. The panel included prominent names like writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar, actor-director Anupam Kher, actor Farooque Sheikh, writer-lyricist Prasoon Joshi, director-turned-actor Farhan Akhtar, actor Shiney Ahuja, Saurabh Varma, Chief Marketing Officer, Reliance Big Picture and Pankaj Khandpur, Creative Director, Visual Computing Labs, Tata Elxsi. They discussed film industry trends and achievements which excited an audience that comprised a combination of both film and media personnel.

After a stimulating experience for the grey-cells, it was time to hit nightclub Enigma at the JW Marriott for a grand celebration. Amitabh Bachchan cut the anniversary cake and what followed was a pulsating evening that celebrated the success of one of the film industry8217;s most respected publications.

Several Bollywood celebrities attended Screen8217;s 57th birthday bash and the party went on till the early hours. Film legends, popular TV artistes, dashing newcomers and popular filmmakers were all part of the celebration.
