Kerala win
KOZHIKODE: Opener MP Sorab’s career-best 52 and second-wicket partnership with Sankar (30) helped Kerala register a three-wicket win over Andhra Pradesh on the penultimate day of the South Zone match. Resuming at 169 for 8, Andhra pradesh were all out for 179, setting Kerala a target of 162.
Brief scores: AP 168 and 179 (Sunil Oasis 5-27, Ramprakash 4-81) lost to Kerala 186 and 164-7 (MP Sorab 52) by 3 wickets.
Hyderabad lead
HYDERABAD: Hyderabad gained a 43-run first innings lead over Karnataka. At the end of the second day’s play, the home team were 21 for no loss.
