Engineers criticise Chandigarh Admn
The Association of Power Engineers at its meeting today criticised the Chandigarh Administration for its failure to concede its demand in connection with withdrawing the case against J.C. Malhotra, C.J. Rain and Jagdeep Gandhi for their alleged involvement in the Engineering kickback case.

The Association said that the Administration has made no sincere efforts to examine the details of FIR to find out the facts leading to the arrest of engineers on flimsy grounds. It passed a resolution for immediate withdrawal of the case failing which the Association members would resort to work-to-rule agitation.
