NASHIK, MAY 18: Thirteen persons were killed in a head-on collision between a jeep and a tanker, about 60 km from Shirpur (Nandurbar district) on the Mumbai-Agra National Highway on Thursday morning.

The victims were from Shirpur and were proceeding to Mandavgarh in Madhya Pradesh to attend discourses of Guru Hemchandraji Maharaj. The incident took place around 9.00 am near Bhoi village, killing the 13 occupants of the jeep on the spot. The victims included a municipal councillor from Shirpur, Seema Sanjay Jain and an ex-councillor Suresh Chunilal Jain.

A court in Antwerp passed the order initiating the formal process of bringing Choksi back to India. But, he still has options to challenge the order passed by the lower court.
