The Lok Sabha on Friday expelled TMC leader Mahua Moitra after its Ethics Committee found her “guilty of unethical conduct”. It also called for “an intense, legal, institutional inquiry” by the government “in a time-bound manner” into the cash-for-query allegations against her. 

So, what options is Moitra left with after her expulsion? Can she approach the Supreme Court? We explain.
