Kate Middleton and husband Prince Williams attended the annual Commonwealth Day Service on Monday at Westminster Abbey for the first time after becoming the Prince and Princess of Wales following the death of Queen Elizabeth and King Charles‘ accession to the throne in September.

The couple looked lovely in the royal appearance and Kate’s attire also had a tribute to both her father-in-law, King Charles and mother-in-law Princess Diana.

Kate appeared in a navy Erdem peplum jacket and skirt with white embroidered print over it. She accessorised her look with a navy wide-brimmed fascinator and pump heels, and a pair of sapphire and diamond earrings that previously belonged to Princess Diana. She also wore Queen Alexandra’s three feathers brooch, a gift from King Charles. Kate had her hair tied into a braided low bun. For makeup, she opted for pink cheeks and lips with a subtle smokey eye.
