The daughter of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and the longest-serving president of the Indian National Congress, Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka continues the Nehru-Gandhi legacy. She made a formal entry in 2019, and is known for her charismatic personality and striking resemblance to her grandmother Indira Gandhi. Misa Bharti is the daughter of former Chief Minister of Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav, and Rabri Devi, who also served as Chief Minister. Named after the Maintenance of Internal Security Act (MISA) under which her father was detained during her birth, Misa entered politics following her family’s footsteps.
She has served as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha, representing the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) party founded by her father. Misa has been actively involved in party affairs and has played a significant role in Bihar’s politics, ofte
Daughter of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Mehbooba Mufti followed her father’s footsteps and entered politics, eventually succeeding him as the chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir in 2016. She became the first woman to hold this position in the state.
As the president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), she has been a significant voice in the complex political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir.
