The daylong workshop educated participants on the characteristic features of dyslexia, and provided training in the administration and interpretation of two flagship psychological tests from Pearson Clinical Assessment: The Raven’s Progressive Matrices and Vocabulary Scales and the Dyslexia Screening Test (DST).

The Raven’s Progressive Matrices and Vocabulary Scales is one of the most widely used tests in India and around the world for testing a child’s intellectual capabilities. DST is used to identify children who are at risk for dyslexia. It enables early identification of dyslexia symptoms,so that it is possible to provide the child with a supportive academic environment and special education.

PCA aims to help teachers, special educators and,in general, mental health professionals across India in identifying dyslexia among school-going children.
