SSC MTS, Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) Exam 2023: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) today released the notification as well as commenced the application process for Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) Examination, 2023. Interested and eligible candidates can apply at the official website— ssc.nic.in. The notification was earlier supposed to release on June 14.

The last date to apply is July 21 till 11 pm and the last date to make payment is July 22 till 11 pm. The last date and time for generation of offline challan is July 23 till 11 pm. Last date for payment through challan (during working hours of banks) is July 24. Candidates can make corrections in the application form from July 26 to 28 till 11 pm. The computer based exam will be conducted sometime in September.

Step 1: Visit the official website— ssc.nic.in

Step 2: Click on register now option on the homepage

Step 3: Enter your details such as name, aadhaar number and more

Step 4: Once registered, login using your username and password

Step 5: Complete the application form and upload the necessary documents

Step 6: Save, submit and pay the fees

Step 7: Download the application form for future reference

The application fee is Rs 100, while women, candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-servicemen categories are exempted from it.

There are approximately 1198 vacancies for SSC MTS and 360 vacancies for Havaldar (CBIC and CBN). The lower age limit to apply for any post is 18 years. The upper age limit is 25 years for MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue) and for Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and a few posts of MTS, the upper age limit is 27 years. Upper age limit relaxations are applicable as per government norms.
