SSC CGL 2024 answer key released for tier 1 exam, link at ssc.gov.in

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on October 3 released the answer keys of the tier 1 exam of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL). The ssc.gov.in website is hosting the SSC CGL 2024 answer keys of all the papers. In addition to the provisional answer keys, the SSC CGL individual response sheets are also made available on the official website.

The SSC CGL 2024 exams were held between September 9 and 26 across multiple centres all over the country.

Step 3: Check and download the answer key

To access the individual response sheets from the ssc.gov.in website, the candidates will have to log in using their registration number and password. SSC has asked the candidates to download the response sheets as they will not be available after October 6.

The Commission has also provided the candidates with the option to raise grievances against the SSC CGL 2024 tentative answer keys. Candidates can go through the answer keys and submit online representations, if any, between October 3 and October 6 (6 pm) on payment of Rs 100 per question, which is non-refundable.

Tier-1 exam consisted of objective type and multiple choice questions. The questions were set both in English and Hindi except for English comprehension. There was a negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer.

The tier 1 result will be based on the final answer key. Candidates shortlisted in tier 1 will have to appear for the tier-2 exam which will include paper-1 and paper-2 in separate shifts or days.

As many as 17,727 vacancies will be filled as part of SSC CGL 2024 recruitment.
