West Bengal voter list, West Bengal SIR 2026: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has enabled online submission of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 electoral roll in West Bengal. This move is expected to greatly benefit individuals who reside outside the state for reasons such as higher education, employment, etc.

However, to submit the SIR enumeration forms online, the EC has made the linking of EPIC and mobile number mandatory. An EPIC (Electors Photo Identity Card) is a 10-digit unique identification number issued by the EC. According to the commission, all voters are required to fill and submit the enumeration form to BLO or online.

EPIC Card link with mobile number: Here’s how

To link your mobile number with your EPIC card, follow these steps:

Visit the official Election Commission portal: https://voters.eci.gov.in/
Click on “Sign Up.”
Enter your mobile number, email ID and the captcha code.
Enter the OTP received on your mobile.
Provide your EPIC number when prompted.
All updates related to your linking request will be sent to your registered email ID.

SIR 2026 West Bengal: Know how to submit enumeration form online

Go to voters.eci.gov.in
Click on “Fill Enumeration Form”
Enter mobile/EPIC number
Select your State and enter EPIC number
Your electoral data will be shown, check it
Before filing Enumeration forms, the EPIC has to be linked to mobile number.
If it was not linked already, it can be done instantly by submitting Form-8
(For Mobile number linking with EPIC: click “Correction of Entries in Existing Electoral Roll”, then “Mobile Number” option ONLY under Form-8)
Once EPIC is linked with Mobile number then the applicant has to login again
Fill up the Enumeration form including last SIR information
Submit through Aadhaar-based e-sign
Current name as per EPIC and Aadhaar data to be matched for e-sign and submission of Enumeration forms
