Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express: The Ministry of Railways is set to introduce a new Vande Bharat train between Varanasi and Khajuraho. This train will not only improve connectivity between two cities but also enhance travel and tourism industry.
Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat train launch date
The national transporter is yet to finalise the launch date and time for the new semi-high-speed train between Varanasi and Khajuraho. However, the service is expected to commence soon. The primary maintenance of this train will be carried out at Varanasi.
Varanasi to Khajuraho Vande Bharat: Train number, route, distance, travel time
The Varanasi to Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will run as train number 26422/26421. The train will cover a distance of 443 km in 07:40 hrs. This will be the fastest train on the route.
Varanasi to Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express train: Frequency, Coach configuration
Train number 26422/26421 Varanasi-Khajuraho-Varanasi ande Bharat Express train will operate six days a week except Thursday. The train will have eight coaches: 7 air-conditioned chair car coaches and 1 executive air-conditioned chair car coach.
Varanasi to Khajuraho Vande Bharat train: Stoppages
During its journey between Varanasi and Khajuraho, train number 26422/26421 will stop at five stations. These are: Vindhyachal, Prayagraj Chheoki, Chitrakut Dham, Banda, and Mahoba stations.
Train number 26422 Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will leave Varanasi at 05:25 hrs and arrive at Khajuraho at 13:10 hrs. In the return direction, train number 26421 Khajuraho-Varanasi Vande Bharat will depart from Khajuraho at 15:20 hrs and arrive in Varanasi at 23:00 hrs.
