Two terrorists arrested in J-K’s Poonch

After questioning the two, a police party raided an accommodation of one of the accused and seized two AK rifles along with ammunition.

Two terrorists were apprehended along with weapons in the border district of Poonch on Sunday, the Jammu and Kashmir Police said.

Identified as Triq Sheikh of Azamabad and Riyaz Ahmad (Sheikh’s associate) of Chamber village, they were arrested during a raid conducted at the former’s house.

After questioning them, a police party raided another accommodation of Tariq Sheikh at Mandi Jallian village and seized two AK rifles along with ammunition.
