J-K Army jawan commits suicide

An Army jawan allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle inside a camp in Budgam district of central Kashmir,a police spokesman said.

Sepoy Kishore Singh,posted with 35 Rashtriya Rifles,was on duty when he shot himself dead inside the camp at Beerwah,35 kms from here,the spokesman said.

He said the motive behind Singh’s taking such an extreme step was not known immediately.
