Exit polls predict BJP win in 4 states; Sheila loses Delhi,but not to Kejriwal

As per the exit polls,Congress's poor show will continue in Rajasthan as well.

The exit polls have given a resounding victory to the BJP in the just concluded Assembly elections in Delhi,Rajasthan,Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.

In Delhi,the BJP is set to get 34 seats with Aam Aadmi Party registering victories in 13 constituencies,according to exit polls. The Congress has been tipped to win 20 seats. Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit is seeking a fourth consecutive term in the National Capital,but her development plank seems to have little impact on the voters. If Arvind Kejriwal manages to win 13 seats as predicted by the exit polls,then the newly formed party will be quite happy with numbers.

As per the exit polls,Congress’s poor show will continue in Rajasthan as well. Vasundhra Raje is likely to become the chief minister of the state with the party winning 130 seats,as per the exit polls. The Congress is set lose power with the party winning just 48 seats. In this crucial state,Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot failed to swing voters in his favour despite big ticket development schemes.

According to the exit polls,the BJP will retain Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Beating anti-incumbency,the BJP is likely to get 144 seats in Madhya Pradesh. While the Congress is likely to win 77 seats.

In Naxal infested Chhattisgarh,the BJP is likely to get 50 seats while the Congress will continue to be in opposition with just 37 seats.
