Worker falls off mosque,killed

A construction worker was killed and another injured when they fell from an under-construction mosque at Nagappa Colony in Srirampura Saturday.

Velu,27,was Tamil Nadu. Mahesh,25,is being treated in hospital,the police said. They were working on a 60-feet high minaret and slipped. They were not wearing safety gear and the police have filed a case of negligence against the contractor and the management of the mosque.
