Woman gang raped by 3 persons; 2 culprits arrested

The woman,in her 20s,had gone to a nearby eatery around 11 pm yesterday to get food for her husband,who works in a jewellery shop and comes home late everyday.

She had come to the capital 10 days ago,the official said.

At the eatery,she met one Anshu,who is known to her as he is a regular visitor to her landlord’s place.

Anshu allegedly told her that he would drop her in his car,the official said. When she entered the car,she saw three men — Rajesh,Jagdish and Prakash — already sitting in the car.

She got scared but Anshu reassured her addressing her as ‘Bhabhi'(sister-in-law) and saying that he would safely take her to home.

However,Anshu and his friends allegedly took her to a farmhouse in Karala area; the official said adding that she was raped allegedly by these four men,

Around 2 am,she managed to escape from the farmhouse with the help of an autorickshaw driver and reached Rithala metro station.
