Students damage 15 vehicles

Students of Shaheed Bhagat Singh school,allegedly agitated over the acquisition of school land by district administration,went on berserk and damaged 15 vehicles including UP roadways buses.

A case of rioting against two hundred persons was registered in Surajpur police station,the police said,adding that seven protesters were also arrested,but were released later.

A meeting was held by the District Magistrate Deepak Aggarwal and a decision of not acquiring the land for now was taken,a district official said.
