Jammu and Kashmir government is contemplating to upgrade all the primary health centres (PHCs),dispensaries and sub-health centres to improve the healthcare system in the state,Minister of State for Health Javaid Ahmad Dar said today.
Government has formulated an ambitious programme to improve the medicare facilities across the state. All PHCs,sub-health centres and dispensaries would be upgraded to ensure availability of adequate and proper medicare facilities to the people,Dar said at a function in
Baramulla,55 kms from here,today.
Responding to the demands of the people,Dar ordered posting of one male doctor and one dental surgeon in PHC Dangiwachi to ease work load and to ensure quick healthcare delivery to the people.
He also sanctioned one Ambulance for the Health Centre to meet the requirements.
Dar said Government has sanctioned 4000 posts of doctors to meet the requirements of the health institutions of the State.
