Delhi: 100-year old building collapses in Chandni Chowk,no casualties

The building in old Delhi housed several offices,shops and godowns.

A 100-year-old multi-storeyed building collapse in the Chandni Chowk area collapsed in the early hours of Sunday.

The building,which was named B M Shah,housed several offices,shops and godowns.

According to reports,the building was in dilapidated condition and the residents of the area had even warned the authorities about its condition. However,the authorities had reportedly turned a deaf ear to the complaints of the residents.

There is no report on the number of casualties.

More details are awaited.
