Stating that the Congress is corrupt and accusing the BJP of spreading communalism in the country,BSP general secretary Narinder Kashyap on Saturday said his party has no plans to tie up with either of them and will go it alone in the state in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He was addressing Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) workers in Ludhiana.
The party will announce its probables for the Lok Sabha elections in a conference in Ludhiana on August 9,Kashyap added. He,however, focused his attention on BSP rebel candidates who have been levelling allegations against them: The self proclaimed BSP missionary workers have been expelled from the party and they will never be taken back.
As for the ruling SAD,Balwinder Singh Bitta, general secretary of the BSPs Punjab unit, said: SAD is also the same,in short, they are the ones who have spread anarchy in the state.
On party rebels having accused BSP leaders of taking funds from SAD in the Vidhan Sabha elections,Bitta said the allegations were baseless and added that none of the expelled workers had produced any proof to back up their claim.
Meanwhile,on the partys repeated failures in the Lok Sabha elections,Kashyap said that the Congress,BJP and SAD were winning polls on the basis of money, power and drugs but added that now the masses have been awakened and hence this time there will be a change.
Kashyap maintained that announcement of candidates is not an early step rather it is a way to prepare the candidates for the big fight. Parkash Singh Jandiali, state president of BSP and many others were also present.
