Chargesheet filed against govt employee on duping charges

Jammu and Kashmir Crime Branch on Wednesday filed a chargesheet against a government employee who had allegedly duped a person on the pretext of providing government jobs to his relatives,police said.

The chargesheet against Agriculture Department employee Abdul Majeed Dar was filed in a special court here for allegedly duping Abdul Rashid Mangloo of Rs 1.40 lakh with a promise to secure jobs for his son and nephew in the department,he said.

Such fraudulent incidents have increased over the years,a police spokesman said,adding that in some such cases even fake appointment orders have been provided to some gullible people.
