The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday declared the results for Class 12th exams. Girls outscored boys as their pass percentage was 87.57 as compared to boys’, which was 77.77 percent.

The pass percentage in 2015 was 82 percent as compared to 82.70 in 2014.

The total number of candidates who took the CBSE Class 12 examination was 1,040,368, marking an increase of about 1.2 percent over that of last year.
