Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar continued his attack on the BJP and the RSS since Mohan Bhagwat’s comments on reservation, saying the BJP has no standing of its own without the RSS.

“The RSS is like the Supreme Court for BJP… The BJP cannot budge an inch from what the Sangh says. BJP ki aukaat kya hai RSS ke saamne (What is the BJP before the RSS)?” Nitish said. He said the BJP’s clarification on the statement is meaningless as the final say is the RSS’s.  “What Bhagwat said has dangerous implications. His statement that a committee, not Parliament, should decide who gets reservation, and for how long, goes against constitutional norms.”

BJP general secretary Ram Madhav reacted in Jammu, “I was listening to the press conference of Nitish Kumar… I want to ask Nitish, which is his supreme court? It looked like he has two supreme courts, Lalu Prasad and Sonia Gandhi, and the Congress from whom he takes orders and permission.”
