The RSS, BJP, and VHP have long demanded a temple at the site. The RSS and VHP have also insisted that building a Ram temple in Ayodhya is a matter of faith and not one for courts -- a view that the Supreme Court has, however, rejected.
“We know several Vikram-Betaal stories from the Puranas. Today, we are listening to, and suffering, the stories of Vikram and Betaal in Maharashtra. There is no sense of proportion between (Betaal’s) ability and his talk,” the editorial in Tarun Bharat read.
