Register rape case against Sinha: HC

The Bombay High Court on Friday directed Wanawadi police to register a case of rape against 27-year-old techie Nimesh Sinha after a writ petition was filed by Anushree Kundra,accused for murdering Sinha’s fiancee Juhi Prasad.

Kundra had surrendered before Pune police in November last year. Kundra was accused of burning alive 26-year-old Prasad,a lawyer,and attempting to murder Sinha at the latter’s apartment in New Market Plaza society in Wanawadi,on October 13. While Juhi succumbed after suffering 98 per cent burns,Nimesh escaped with 10 per cent burns.
