Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao ACTING ON a complaint against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the Election Commission on Friday issued an advisory to him to follow the model code of conduct (MCC).
The advisory, published by the poll panel on its website on Saturday, said the EC had received a complaint from NSUI Telangana president Balmoori Venkat Narsing Rao alleging that the Chief Minister, a star campaigner for his party, had made “derogatory and provoking comments” while addressing an rally in Banswada constituency on October 30.
The EC also issued a show-cause notice to BRS star campaigner and Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao for violating the MCC. The EC said it had received a complaint from Congress MP Randeep Surjewala.
