The Delhi Police has questioned the family members of BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh in connection with the two FIRs lodged against him by protesting wrestlers, it is learnt.
Sources said police will revisit the homes of the Wrestling Federation of India chief in Delhi, Gonda and Lucknow to collect more evidence and submit an investigation report to the court next week.

Police declined to name the family members but said they were questioned about Singh’s whereabouts on certain dates, his behaviour with wrestlers, his phone calls and national camps. “More than 180 witnesses have been examined including family members and friends. Since they are close to Singh, their statements will help corroborate the allegations made by wrestlers. They were asked about his behaviour, relations with colleagues and wrestlers, his whereabouts and the incidents mentioned in the FIRs” said a source.
The two FIRs on sexual harassment, stalking and under the POCSO Act — one on the complaint of six wrestlers and other on the complaint of a minor wrestler — were lodged in April.
After the protesting wrestlers met Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur Wednesday, the Delhi Police said they are in the process of drafting the report. “We have mentioned statements of witnesses, Singh, wrestlers and other parties involved. We have also investigated the cases using technical tools. The details of call records, location, certain videos and photos have been mentioned in the report,” said an officer.
Sources said Singh has been questioned thrice in connection with the probe.
“Last week, the team visited Gonda and Lucknow to question the staffers. Two-three family members, five-eight staffers and associates of Singh were questioned. More people will be questioned and teams will be sent to different areas for investigation” added the officer.
Police are also expected to withdraw the FIRs filed against wrestlers Sakshi Malik, Bajrang Punia, Vinesh Phogat and Sangeeta Phogat, who were under sections of rioting and assaulting police personnel last month after they planned to march to the new Parliament House on the day of its inauguration.
