(Image: @CEOBiharX)Bihar assembly elections 2025, Bihar election phase 2 date: The second phase of the 2025 Bihar Legislative Assembly election will be held on November 11, 2025. It covers 122 assembly constituencies out of a total of 243. The second phase of polling will be held across 20 districts in Bihar. In the first phase, polling was held in 121 constituencies across 18 districts.
In this phase, 1,302 candidates are in the poll fray, 136 (about 10 per cent) of them are women. Polling will be held at 45,399 centres and the number of eligible electors is 3.7 crore. Out of it, 1.95 crore are male voters while 1.74 crore are women.
The Election Commission of India has listed 12 valid photo ID documents for voters in Bihar, recognising that not all electors may hold an EPIC.

In a significant move, the Supreme Court has directed that the Aadhaar card be accepted as the 12th valid document for identity proof in the state’s electoral roll revision, though it emphasised that Aadhaar alone does not serve as proof of citizenship.
65.08% polling in Bihar Assembly Election Phase 1
In the first phase (November 6, 2025), the voter turnout was 65.08%, a record for the state according to the Election Commission of India. This phase also concluded peacefully, with the poll authority stating that no repolling has been recommended across the 45,000+ polling stations.
The counting of votes across the two phases will take place on November 14, 2025. The results will determine who forms the next government in Bihar.
