A brand new trailer for Netflix’s The Witcher reveals the new mythological world of ‘half-humans, half-monsters’ starring Henry Cavill in the lead.

Cavill sways his long silvery hair and sparkles his fake gorgeous eyes as he makes intense statements about the human condition in the released promo.

Based on the novels of Andrzej Sapkowski of the same name, the Netflix Original series will delve deep into the world of the Witcher, portrayed by Cavill. Geralt of Rivia (Cavill) crosses paths with a mysterious sorceress and a princess with a deadly secret and somehow, together the three have to traverse the difficult and twisty roads of their part of the world. But will they make it till the end? For that, we will have to wait and watch.

The video was released with a description that read, “You can’t outrun destiny just because you’re terrified of it. Henry Cavill is Geralt of Rivia. The Witcher arrives December 20.”
