Salman Khan doesn’t spare Aamir Khan, Netflix or Sikandar on Kapil Sharma’s show: ‘Aamir jab tak marriage ko perfect nahi kar lega…’

The video released on Instagram shows Kapil walking out to the grand set of the show with Navjot Singh Sidhu’s voice in the background saying, “Every moment from today will be packed with fun.” The whole nation is ready to laugh along. It then cuts away to text on screen that gives us a hint of our first celebrity guest of the new season. The text reads, “Naye season ki shuruaat, Sikandar ke saath (We will start the new season with ‘Sikandar’),” which is a play on Salman’s most recent role in the film Sikandar. Salman, who was also a producer of the show when it was on TV, walks out to the set and accuses Netflix of taking the show away from them and then calling him back for the next season. He says, “Netflix has a lot of power.”

The caption of the post read, “Sikandar’s swag + Kapil’s timing = BLOCKBUSTER. The Great Indian Kapil Show is back, aur har Funnyvaar badhega humara parivaar. Watch the first episode from 21st June, 8 pm, every Saturday only on Netflix.” Returning members of the talk show, like Krushna Abhishek, Archana Puran Singh, and Sunil Grover, are also seen doing skits with the actor.

We get a peek into several segments from the first episode, including one where professional Salman Khan imitators join the actor on stage. Salman takes a dig at his own movie and asks them, “Is everything fine? I hope Sikandar didn’t have a bad effect on business.” The actor and Kapil are also seen singing the iconic track ‘O Oh Jaane Jaana’ together from the movie Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya (1998).

When Kapil asked him when he will be tying the knot given Aamir Khan is dating again, Salman took a gentle swipe at Aamir, calling him a perfectionist. “Wo jab tak marriage perfect nahi kar lega…” Salman laughed, letting his sentence trail.

The new season will be releasing on June 21, and Sikandar is also now available for streaming on Netflix.
