Ashneer Grover accepts no one understands ‘kismet ka doglapan’ better than him, teases his new show Rise and Fall

He further shared the show will run for 42 days, and will feature sixteen well known personalities. They will be split into two parts. There will be one game where on one side, there are the strong and on the other side, the weak. He said, “When the one below will come up and the one above will slip down then it will be a lot of fun.”

Rise and Fall will mark the return of Ashneer Grover on reality show after Shark Tank. Ashneer was removed from Shark Tank India after his fallout with his former company, BharatPe. This was soon after the season 1 of the show, which made him famous for his blunt statements and the word “doglapan”. He was replaced by Amit Jain, the co-founder and CEO of CarDekho.

Rise and Fall is an Indian adaptation of a British reality series. The show will reportedly feature 16 contestants from various backgrounds. These contestants will live in a skyscraper, which will be divided into two sections: Rulers and Workers. The show will have the Rulers make decisions which will impact the workers. Whereas the workers will have to follow the decisions and complete tasks to earn money. The rise and fall of the contestants will be dependent on votes that can change their hierarchy in the game.

The makers are yet to reveal the release date of the show.
