Bigg Boss OTT 2: Pooja Bhatt calls other contestants ‘heartless’, slams them for targeting Aashika Bhatia

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Pooja Bhatt took a stand for Aashika Bhatia as other contestants targeted her in the task.

The latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2 was a dampener with Salman Khan skipping the shoot. Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh joined the contestants for a fun time. However, things turned emotional as most housemates targeted Aashika Bhatia and called her a ‘zero’ in the game. The wild card contestant broke down and reasoned that she was too new in the game and would need time to open up. She also found an unexpected ally in Pooja Bhatt, who supported her and lambasted other contestants for criticising her.

Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek gave the contestants a task where they had to pick the weakest among them. They gave Aashika the maximum zeroes and labeled her as inactive in the game. Later when Nishant Bhat arrived with a task where they had to give one constestant bitter juices to drink, voicing out their negative traits. Most contestants named her as boring and also called her out for not taking the initiative to bond with others. This led to the Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo actor bursting out in tears. Pooja Bhatt took a stand for Aashika and said that the contestants’ comments have left the young girl traumatised.

She called them out for showing no humanity and expressed her disappointment, especially towards her friends. “I had not expected this from anyone, how can you guys be so heartless? There is no humanity in this house. Meine mera dil platter pe rakha that sabh ke liye but abh nahi I take it back (I gave my heart to you all on a platter but I regret it).” She also urged everyone to show some heart and not play with their mind.

Later in the episode, Pooja Bhatt also confronted her friends Falaq Naaz and Bebika Dhurve for their behaviour towards Aashika Bhatia. She also shared that she wouldn’t want to be friends with such people, “If this is the case, I would not like to be in touch with such people after leaving the house. Hope you guys get success after coming out but I won’t be in touch with you after the show,” the filmmaker said. Her comments left Falaq and Bebika emotional and they tried to apologise to Pooja.

Pooja Bhatt was also seen consoling Aashika Bhatia as the latter cried her heart out. The actor-filmmaker asked her to be strong and face competition and fight her way to win the Bigg Boss OTT 2 trophy.
