The trailer of Bambai Meri Jaan is out. The series stars Kay Kay Menon, Kritika Kamra and Avinash Tiwary in lead roles and is bankrolled by Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment.

The trailer of highly anticipated web series Bambai Meri Jaan, produced by Farhan Akhtar, is out. The series stars Kay Kay Menon, Kritika Kamra, and Avinash Tiwary in lead roles. The shows storyline revolves around the conflict between Dara Kadri (Avinash Tiwary), a rising gangster, and his father Ismail Kadri (Kay Kay Menon), an honest police officer. The show is set in the 70’s Bombay underworld and shows us the rise of Dawood Ibrahim.
The trailer begins with Ismail recounting the story of how his son, born to an upright police officer, eventually becomes entangled in the world of gangsters. While Ismail worked towards protecting Mumbai from falling into the clutches of gangsters, his son succumbed to their influence, ultimately transforming into a ruthless underworld gangster himself.
The series also features Nivedita Bhattacharya and Amyra Dastur in significant roles. Bambai Meri Jaan is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Media and Entertainment. Providing more insights into the show, Ritesh Sidhwani previously said, “Set in the post-independence era, Bambai Meri Jaan chronicles the birth of the underworld in Mumbai against the backdrop of a free nation. Viewers will witness a gripping gangster thriller, exploring the classic, universal battle of good versus evil.”
Farhan Akhtar shared the trailer of the web series on Instagram and wrote, “An honest father, an insatiable son, and the consequences that lie within #BambaiMeriJaanOnPrime, trailer out now.”

The series is created by Rensil D’Silva and Shujaat Saudagar. Directed by Shujaat Saudagar, Bambai Meri Jaan is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 14.
