Telugu actor Rajendra Prasad’s daughter Gayatri passes away at 38; Jr NTR, Nani offer condolence, Allu Arjun pays visit

Veteran Telugu actor Rajendra Prasad’s daughter, Gayatri, passed away following a cardiac stroke on Saturday. She was 38. Prasad’s daughter was admitted to AIG Hospitals, Hyderabad, where she breathed her last in the wee hours of October 5. The Telugu industry came together to mourn her loss.

Jr NTR, currently seen in the actioner Devara, took to X and wrote that the passing away of Gayatri, who was “very dear to me”, was devastating. “I pray that their souls rest in peace. My deepest condolences to Rajendra Prasad and his family.” Nani also took to X and shared a note for the family, writing, “Deepest condolences to Rajendra Prasad gaaru and his family. This is heartbreaking.”

Telugu stars Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha, Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun–who has also worked with Rajendra Prasad in several films– visited the veteran’s house to pay tributes to him. Actor Venkatesh Daggubati, who also visited the house, was seen consoling Rajendra Prasad in videos which emerged from his residence.
