Ravi Teja undergoes surgery, advised complete bed rest for six weeks

Ravi Teja sustained a muscle tear on the sets of RT75, also starring Sreeleela. Despite the injury, the actor went ahead with the shoot which resulted in surgery later.

Ravi Teja recently underwent surgery after he ignored the muscle tear in his right hand which he sustained while shooting for the film, tentatively titled, RT75. The actor reportedly continued with the shoot of RT75 despite the injury, which led to surgery. The actor has now been advised complete bed rest by doctors for a period of six weeks. The news was confirmed by the actor’s representative on his social media handle.

A statement shared by the actor’s representative read, “Mass Maharaja #Raviteja recently sustained a muscle tear in his right hand during the filming of #RT75. Despite the injury, he continued to shoot, which unfortunately led to further aggravation. Yesterday, He underwent a successful surgery at Yashoda Hospitals and as per medical advice, he has been prescribed six weeks of bed rest to ensure a complete recovery.”

The 56-year-old actor was recently seen in Harish Shankar’s film Mr Bachchan, also starring Jagapathi Babu and Bhagyashri Borse. The movie clashed with Puri Jagannadh’s Double iSmart on Independence Day. Both the films tanked at the box office.

Ravi Teja will next be seen in his 75th project which is yet to be titled. The film has reunited the 2022 film Dhamaka co-stars Ravi and Sreeleela for the second time. Filmmaker Bhanu Bogavarupu will direct the movie.
