Pushpa 2: The Rule is set to break more records with a total three-day collection of Rs 600 crore globally by Saturday. The film, which was released on December 5, has earned a whopping Rs 449 crore in two days of its release. According to the early estimates by Sacnilk, the Allu Arjun-starrer film has earned Rs 58.16 crore as of 5 pm in India on its third day of release. According to trade experts, the film is said to earn more on day three than what it did on opening day. If the film manages to surpass its own first day Hindi collection in India, it will be the biggest single-day ever for a Hindi version of a film.

Meanwhile, the Telugu version of the film witnessed an overall occupancy of 49.70% in the first half of Saturday. The Hindi version recorded 50.49% overall occupancy in India with over 7200 shows scheduled across the country. About 2800 shows are arranged in the Telugu language.

The film, reportedly made on a budget of between Rs 300 crore to Rs 400 crore, is written and directed by Sukumar. Apart from Allu Arjun, Pushpa: The Rule also stars actors Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles.

Pushpa: The Rule, a sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise, opened to Rs 294 crore at the global box office on its release day (including the benefit show on Wednesday). On day two, the film earned over Rs 155 crore worldwide, according to its makers. Now, with its Saturday collection, the film is expected to cross the Rs 600 crore mark. If the film continues with this momentum, it will have a whopping collection of over Rs 700 crore globally in its first weekend.

The film is witnessing houseful shows in several locations, including select theatres of Delhi-NCR. Pushpa 2 has also created a record of selling over 100k tickets on BookMyShow for three days in a row.
