Jr NTR says he’ll stop doing films if fans keep asking him about his next project: ‘If you ask repeatedly…’

At a recent event, Jr NTR joked with fans about quitting films if they keep asking him about his next projects.

RRR star Jr NTR recently came back to India after the Oscars, where “Naatu Naatu” won Best Original Song. The actor recently attended the pre-release event for Vishwak Sen’s film Ka Dhamki in Hyderabad, and also interacted with fans. As they excitedly asked him about his next project, the superstar made a remark that left fans surprised.

At the event, as fans asked him about his next film, he jokingly said that he would quit films if he is continuously asked about it. “I am not doing any movie. If you ask repeatedly, I’ll stop doing movies,” he said. However, in the next moment, he assured them that he has no plans to do the same and will be back on screen soon. As his fans would know, Jr NTR‘s next film would be with Janhvi Kapoor. Titled Koratala Siva, it’s scheduled to release on April 5, 2024.

Meanwhile, a video doing rounds in the media, presumably from the same event, showed the actor defending a fan as his security guards pushed him aside. As Jr NTR walked out, a fan hurried towards him and held him from the waist. While initially shocked, he realised its a fan and calmed him down. His security guard, on the other hand, tried to push him away, as the actor stopped him and posed for pictures with the fan who barged in.

Social media users were left impressed seeing Tarak support his fans, as they posted comments like, “The great person with great heart ,” “Jai NTR #ManOfMassesNTR,” and “He is such a kind star.”

Jr NTR, along with co-star Ram Charan, director SS Rajamouli and the music team were present at the 95th Academy Awards. On the red carpet, the actor, who played Komaram Bheem in the film, spoke about its achievements and the next chapter.

When asked about the sequel to the blockbuster film, Jr NTR said, “Can’t wait for it to start. Rajamouli still hasn’t told us when it is going to start.” He also shared how he would want to wrap up everything before getting into RRR 2 as he would want to give all his time for the film.
