Jagadessh Prathap Bandari released on bail in suicide abetment case, joins the sets of Pushpa 2
Jagadessh Prathap Bandari was arrested for the abetment of suicide of a junior female artiste. He was taken into custody on December 6.

Telugu actor Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, known for his role in Pushpa: The Rise, has been granted bail and has returned to the sets of Allu Arjun’s upcoming movie Pushpa 2. Jagadeesh was arrested in connection with a case involving the suicide of a junior female artiste who passed away on November 23, 2023. He was taken into custody on December 6.
Jagadeesh is best known for his portrayal of Keshava in the first installment of Pushpa. The actor who debuted with Nirudyoga Natulu in 2018, rose to prominence through his roles in acclaimed films such as Mallesham, George Reddy, and Palasa 1978.
Pushpa 2, slated for release on August 15, 2024, continues the story from its prequel, which was a massive success in 2021. The sequel, directed by Sukumar, stars Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The film boasts music by National Award-winner Devi Sri Prasad and features cinematography by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek, with editing by Karthika Srinivas and Ruben.
Jagadeesh’s bail and return to the movie set marks a pivotal moment as the team resumes filming for the much-anticipated sequel. With the success of its predecessor and the stellar cast and crew lineup, Pushpa 2 is poised to be another blockbuster hit in Telugu cinema.
