After turning heads with her blazing stint in Bigg Boss 16, Tina Datta is all set to make her fiction comeback with Sony TV’s Hum… Rahe Na Rahe Hum. It will also have Jay Bhanushali back in a daily show after more than a decade. The trailer of the show dropped on Tuesday and from the look of it, the show seems like a take on Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan’s Khoobsurat.

The trailer video posted by producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary begins with Kittu Gidwani, playing a ‘rajmata (queen mother), talking about how maintaining the pride of her state is the most important thing. She also introduced her son, played by Jay Bhanushali, who is the heir. We also meet his love interest Tina who has a ‘colourful personality’ and wonders whether she has a place in his royal life. While he id confident that his mother would accept her, the latter shuns his girlfriend away, leaving him heartbroken. How he would manage to strike a balance between his duty and love forms the crux of the story. The setting and characters drew a close reference to Shashanka Ghosh’s 2014 film.
