The writing duo behind “Humans” have revealed they have long-term plans for the sci-fi series.

Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley said they have a rough idea of what might happen beyond the upcoming second series, reported Digital Spy.

“We think it could run longer than two series. Definitely we have a very rough playful notion of what we’d do in series beyond two,” Vincent said at this weekend’s MCM London Comic Con.

“We’re still in the process of nailing down the stories for series two, of course, so that obviously has a knock-on effect. But we do think that far ahead.”

Vincent added that “Humans” – which charts the rise of lifelike robots called Synths – has “got a few series in it”.

“Humans” is loosely based on a Swedish series named “Real Humans”, but Brackley and Vincent said that their second series will divert even further from the original show.
