Katrina Kaif pregnant: Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have officially announced their pregnancy. The couple took to Instagram to share a photo of themselves, where fans can clearly see Katrina flaunting her baby bump. The picture shows the duo dressed in all-white attire, with Vicky lovingly cradling Katrina’s baby bump. The couple accompanied the photo with a heartfelt message.

The caption of the announcement post read, “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude. 🙏🏽 ॐ.”

Both fans and their Bollywood colleagues showered them with love. While Anushka congratulated the couple, Preity Zinta wrote, “SOOOO HAPPY for you guys. Congratulations. Loads of love always.” Deepika Padukone dropped an evil eye emoji in the comments section.

Akshay, however, had the best comment. “So totally happy for you Katrina and Vicky. Knowing you, I can say that you two will make the best parents. Bas baby ko English aur Punjabi equally sikhaana (Teach your kid English and Punjabi please) ;) Lots of love and blessings. Jai Mahadev.”

Speculations about the couple expecting their first child had been making the rounds for quite some time. On Monday evening, Vicky Kaushal attended the premiere of Homebound alone, which further fuelled the rumours. Now, the couple has finally revealed that they will soon be welcoming their bundle of joy. As per reports, the couple is expected to welcome their baby in October.

In an old interview of Katrina has resurfaced, offering a glimpse into her thoughts on family and parenthood. In a 2019 conversation with Filmfare, the actor reflected on her upbringing. Raised by her mother, Suzanne Turquotte, after her parents’ separation, Katrina said: “Not having a father figure does create a certain vacuum and makes any girl feel vulnerable. When I have kids, I want them to have the experience of being with both parents.”
