Hina Khan gets ready for first shoot after undergoing chemotherapy, says ‘accept, embrace and normalise’: ‘I want to keep working’
Hina Khan, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, asked her followers to 'normalise' working when battling life's biggest challenges. "Take a break on bad days, live your life on the good days", said the actress.

Hina Khan recently shocked her fans with her announcement of being diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. In several posts after the announcement, the actress shared having her hair cut and going through chemotherapy. She also showed the marks around her body, which are symptoms of cancer. However, none of these things stopped her from living her life with positivity. In her latest Instagram post, the actress shared that she is set to shoot her first project post her first chemotherapy session.
On Monday, the actress shared a video of herself, where she could be seen getting ready for her shoot. The actress wore a white dress and used a pretty wig to hide her hair cut for the shoot. While getting her makeup done, the actress said she was nervous but nothing should stop one from being happy.
Along with the video, the actress shared a long note, which read: “My first work assignment after my diagnosis..
Walking the talk is challenging, especially when facing life’s biggest challenges. So, give yourself a break on bad days; it’s okay… you deserve it. However, don’t forget to live your life on the good days, no matter how few they are. These days still hold importance. Accept the change, embrace the difference, and NORMALISE it.”

The actress, who is looking forward to the good days, said she needs to do what she loves. ” I love my work. I live my dreams when I’m working, and that is my greatest motivation. I want to keep working. Many people work regular jobs during their treatment without issues, and I am no different. I met a few in these months and trust me it changed my perspective.”
She stressed on normalising working during the treatment throughout her post. She shared a strong message for people who are also going through the same situation and said, “It’s your story, your life, you decide what to make of it.”
“Accept, embrace, and normalise it”, Hina concluded her post.
On June 28, the actress took to her Instagram handle to break the news to her fans and followers. Sharing a long note, the actress revealed, “To address the recent rumour, I want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with Stage Three Breast Cancer.”
The actress, who rose to fame after starring in the television series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has been actively sharing posts about and around her diagnosis.
