Former Shark Tank India judge Ashneer Grover trademarks his name, netizens compare him to Kunal Bahl

In the past, celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, and Amitabh Bachchan have also trademarked their names. Aditi Tuteja a lawyer from Delhi High Court confirmed this news on LinkedIn after which fans had mixed reactions. While some commented on how this was a move from Ashneer to gain royalties from Shark Tank India, others called it a smart move from the business tycoon. Last month, Ashneer Grover made headlines after Salman Khan reprimanded him about his earlier comment.

While this decision from Ashneer has left many debating, a huge section on the internet finds a striking resemblance between Ashneer and the new Shark – Kunal Bahl who will be seen on Shark Tank India Season 4. This judgment comes after the latest promo of Kunal was released where he made some blunt statements that left Aman Gupta and Namita Thapar irritated. As per the promo, Kunal is seen in a head-on competition with Anupam over a pitch where they compete to close at Rs 4 crores.

During the promo, Kunal also questioned the idea of royalties and called them exploitative. In the video, Namita also took a jibe at him and said, ‘Yeh naye Sharks aaj kal bohot uchal rahe hai (These New Sharks are acting very smart).” Kunal also grabbed eyeballs for snapping at Aman and saying he has done more deals than the BoAt CEO after which Aman is shown walking out from the pitch.

Witnessing such sharp rivalries already, fans have been comparing Kunal to Ashneer, some have even pointed out how the Snapdeal CEO’s fashion is very similar to that of Ashneer Grover.
