Bigg Boss 17 has been one crazy journey for all its contestants, with Samarth Jurel‘s time on the show coming to an end now. Samarth is dating Isha Malviya and entered the show as a wild card contestant after his girlfriend was seen getting close to her ex Abhishek Kumar on the show. Samarth made news when he was slapped by Abhishek in one of the latest episodes. The former contestant spoke to indianexpress.com over his actions on the show, the slap controversy, and his future with Isha.

Talking about his journey on the show, and portraying the traits of toxic boyfriend towards Isha, Samarth said, “I have no regrets. I was very careful on that platform, but the lack of experience was seen in me. I had no control over my words like Vicky Jain and Munawar Faruqui did. I have gone wrong in many places and said and done a lot of wrong things that I shouldn’t have. I do feel bad about it, but it was all out of frustration.”

When Samarth entered the house, Isha refused to acknowledge him as her boyfriend, while Abhishek had an emotional breakdown, he added, “It was hurtful at that moment because Isha was startled. There was anger and frustration, but I knew she would eventually accept our relationship. Abhishek knew I was going to come, when I went in he also told me that he was feeling very scared. I never called his emotions for Isha fake, I always respected that.”

Commenting on Isha’s allegations towards Abhishek, Samarth said, “Every allegation Isha made is true. All parents hide their child’s mistakes, Abhishek’s mom did that too. I have seen so many chats of Isha where Abhishek has apologized to her. He even asked her in one chat to send a picture of her eye that was bruised. He used to cry on video calls, so nothing is a lie. As far as other co-stars are concerned, nobody slaps in front of everyone, he took her alone and slapped her.”

When asked if he was not sorry about poking fun at Abhishek’s mental health, he said, “The attitude with which Abhishek came back in the house, he fought with Ankita Lokahnde and Munawar too. Everybody is not dumb if they are calling him wrong. I said it to him out of frustration about what he told Isha. Whatever I said was very wrong, the things he said about Isha were disgusting, and I couldn’t take them. So I let him take charge and fight because he can drive people mad. But I will not say that people should get inspired by my behavior, what I did was wrong.”

On the show, Isha’s father did not like Samarth a lot, he even said that if Samarth cared for Isha he wouldn’t have come on the show after her. Reacting to this, Samarth replied, “Why wouldn’t I go after her in the house? I am not someone who would sit outside for four months and wait for his girlfriend. I am very forward and have some brains. I don’t understand why Isha’s dad made that statement, I never insulted his daughter or questioned her reputation. I stood by Isha, still if he thinks it is wrong then that is his opinion.”

On a parting note when asked what is the future he sees for him and Isha as a couple? He responded, “Isha and I have not decided to get married and have children, but yes, I want to stay with her. So it depends on both of us.”

Isha and Samarth have been dating for more than a year now, after the Udaariyaan actress broke up with Abhishek Kumar.
