Inspired by Aishwarya’s look in the 2008 film, Drashti who plays the role of a queen named Gayatri in the show, will get an illusion about a new trouble brewing in the life of Ranaji (essayed by Siddhant Karnick).

Disguised as a warrior, Gayatri will step out to investigate the matter.

“The new look of a warrior is a big departure from what viewers have seen me as Gayatri. I have never worn such clothes on television, so I am excited to know the audience reaction.

“On the sets, when I tried on the attire, a lot of people said it reminded them of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s warrior look from ‘Jodhaa Akhbar’,” Drashti said in a statement.

“Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani” airs on Zee TV.
