While fans were eagerly anticipating the reunion of Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar on the grand finale of Bigg Boss 18 on Sunday, they will be disappointed to learn that the two stars will not be seen together on the reality show’s stage. Akshay was supposed to be the special guest for the finale, but according to reports, the much-awaited segment did not go as planned. Akshay arrived at the Bigg Boss sets to shoot the segment with Salman, but since the Dabangg star was late, Akshay eventually left without filming the segment.

Sources suggest that Akshay, known for his punctuality, reached the Bigg Boss 18 set at the scheduled time of 2:15 PM to shoot the segment with Salman. However, after waiting for over an hour, Akshay, who had other commitments, decided to leave the set. It was reported that Salman arrived at the set at 6:30 pm. According to a report in Hindustan Times, Akshay and Salman spoke on the phone and reached a mutual understanding regarding future appearances, agreeing to appear together on the show later.

Meanwhile, the makers of Bigg Boss have released a new promo for the grand finale, which only features Akshay’s Sky Force co-star and debutante Veer Pahariya. The promo shows Salman assigning Veer a mission: to announce the contestants who are being eliminated from the show. In the clip, Veer stands in front of a buzzer and is tasked with buzzing the contestant who is set to leave the show.
